Black female creativity center of Adia Victoria, Lizzie No blues tour

Nashville-based and South Carolina-born performer Adia Victoria refers to herself as a “dark and somber” artist. However, in brighter regards, she’s been tapping into “blues sisterhood and shea butter excellence” with Brooklyn-based vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Lizzie No for an early 2022 run of North American shows. Via these events, the relationship many African-American blues-inspired artists feel has been lost between them and their musical heritage is being repaired.

Victoria plays Music City’s Musician’s Corner at Centennial Park on Saturday, May 14, alongside JP Harris, Brandy Zdan, The Mango Furs and Drumming Bird.
